Make sure you state your name CLEARLY and then outline your problem. At the beginning of each year ALL orchestra members (old and new) must complete the Online Membership Details Form. Please note that for reasons of security, your details are not stored on any online server system. IF YOUR DETAILS CHANGE AT ANY TIME DURING THE YEAR, PLEASE RESUBMIT YOUR INFORMATION USING THIS FORM. 2010 Membership fees are now due ($385 for individuals and $583 for families). The Orchestra members are generally aged between twelve and their early twenties. The current annual membership fee is $385 (including GST) per playing member ($583 for families). There is no audition fee. Auditions
Auditions are usually held annually, October/November/December in Sydney. Applicants are expected to be studying currently with a teacher, and to be of a level equivalent to or above AMEB Grade 7. Audition inquiries can be made by completing an Online Audition Inquiry Form. General Rehearsal Information
Rehearsals are generally held on Friday evenings from 6pm (security sign-in from 5pm) at the studios of SBS on the corner of Herbert and Frederick Streets Artarmon (map). You are expected to attend all rehearsals unless the rehearsal schedule does not require you. If, for any reason, you are unable to attend a rehearsal or performance you must advise Mr Krel by telephone or (preferably) email well ahead of time.
